A Birthday in Bali

Elaine’s 65th
A note from Danielle

Welcome to Bali!

Elaine, this whole trip is for you. Sixty-five years of taking care of everybody else… so for the next twelve days, you don’t lift a finger. Everyone else, your job is to make sure she doesn’t!

Open this page every morning. It’ll tell you what’s happening, what to wear, what to bring, and when we’re heading home to rest. Tap any place to see where it is and what it’s about.

And most of all… be here. Put the phone down at sunset. Say yes to the massage. Try the sambal.

With love, Danielle

A few things worth repeating

  • Temples need covered shoulders and knees. There’s a sarong in your welcome basket. Keep it in your day bag.
  • Most afternoons we go home before dinner.Look for the teal Home stops. That’s your time to rest, shower and change.
  • Two nights to dress up:October 24 and October 27.
  • Drink only sealed bottled water, and skip ice from places you don’t recognise.
  • Pack an overnight bag for October 24.One night away.
  • Closed-toe shoes and a change of clothesfor the ATV morning on the 22nd.
